Pablo González, a regular guest conductor with The Hallé, has established a particularly strong rapport with the players of the orchestra. He was joined by his Spanish compatriot, Leticia Moreno, to perform Lalo’s colourful and virtuosic Symphonie Espagnole. Mr González’s performance was described as “extremely passionate and zealous” (NorthWestEnd), with the critic continuing, “He exacted absolute maximum value from each dynamic change and made maximum effect of every pause.”
This successful engagement has led to an immediate re-invitation in autumn 2018.
