Pablo González has stepped in to make his debut with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra on Wednesday 7th February. Maestro González replaces Constantinos Carydis, who unfortunately had to withdraw due to illness.
Pablo conducts a programme featuring Rimsky-Korsakov: May Night Overture, Falla: Nights in the Gardens of Spain, Mussorgsky (orch. Rimsky-Korsakov): A Night on the Bare Mountain and Mussorgsky (orch. Ravel): Pictures at an Exhibition. The soloist for the evening is Pablo’s frequent collaborator, the pianist Javier Perianes.
